1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using LangBroX ("the Service"), operated by LangBroX, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Service Description

LangBroX provides AI-powered German language exam preparation and simulation services, including practice exercises (Aufgaben) and automated evaluations for German language certification exams (B1-C1 levels).

Disclaimer: LangBroX is an independent learning platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any official language certification institutions.

3. Subscription Plans

3.1 Free Tier

  • Access to static practice exercises
  • One (1) AI evaluation per account lifetime
  • No payment required

3.2 Premium Plan (€10/month)

  • Two (2) new exercises generated daily
  • Four (4) AI evaluations per day
  • Daily reset of evaluation quota
  • Recurring monthly subscription

3.3 Pro Premium Plan (€15/month)

  • Two (2) new exercises generated daily
  • Twelve (12) AI evaluations per day
  • Daily reset of evaluation quota
  • Priority support
  • Recurring monthly subscription

4. Payment and Billing

4.1 Payment Processor

All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our authorized payment processor and Merchant of Record. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to Paddle's terms and conditions. Paddle will appear on your billing statement.

4.2 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew each month on the anniversary of your subscription date unless canceled before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current subscription fee.

4.3 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes will apply to subsequent billing periods.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

5.1 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or Paddle's customer portal. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds will be issued for unused days.

5.2 Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the initial purchase. Subsequent subscription renewals are non-refundable.

6. Usage Limitations

Evaluation quotas reset daily at 00:00 UTC. Unused evaluations do not carry over to the next day. Abuse of the service, including but not limited to automated requests or sharing accounts, may result in account suspension or termination.

7. AI-Powered Evaluations

Our evaluation service uses artificial intelligence to assess your writing. While we strive for accuracy, AI evaluations are meant to assist your learning and should not be considered as definitive exam results. We make no guarantees about your performance in actual certification exams.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on LangBroX, including exercises, evaluation algorithms, design, and text, is protected by copyright and owned by LangBroX or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

9. User Content

You retain ownership of any written submissions you provide for evaluation. By submitting content, you grant LangBroX a license to process, analyze, and store your submissions for the purpose of providing the Service and improving our AI models. We will not share your personal submissions publicly without your consent.

10. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or extract our AI models
  • Use automated tools to access the Service
  • Submit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms of Service, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform. Upon termination, you will lose access to all subscription benefits.

12. Limitation of Liability

LangBroX is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months.

13. Data Protection

Your use of LangBroX is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We process your personal data in accordance with the GDPR and applicable German data protection laws.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Recklinghausen, Germany.
